“Companies should focus the majority of their marketing budget on inbound, not outbound initiatives,” said Jeremy LaDuque, CEO of Elements Inc., creator of ElementsLocal™, a new software solution for companies that increasescompany leads through maximized search engine results. “When you push your message out far and wide with little discretion, you’re essentially crossing your fingers that it will resonate with a few individuals. Elements Inc. Creates New High Caliber Web Site for KCBX

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Elements Inc., an interactive web agency based in San Luis Obispo, recently created  a dynamic new web site for San Luis Obispo-based KCBX public radio, www.kcbx.org.

Designed with a caliber similar to larger public radio web sites, the new site features enhanced layout and organization for quick access to important links, and broadened categories to allow the station to better cater to its audience and highlight key items.

“We’re very pleased with the look and functionality of the site,” said Paul Severtson, development director for KCBX.  “I’m confident that it accomplishes what we set out to do and that we now have the tools to keep it fresh and useful to our audience,” he continued.

“We believe in KCBX and the value of the service that they provide to our community – we want to help them out in any way possible,” said Jeremy LaDuque, president of Elements.

In an effort to support nonprofits that serve the community, Elements also recently completed new, more efficient web sites on a pro-bono or in-kind service basis for the Clark Center for the Performing Arts (www.clarkcenter.org), San Luis Obispo Symphony (www.slosymphony.com), and SLO Green Build (www.slogreenbuild.org) and Youth Service California (www.yscal.org).

The bakery has been getting a “bigger piece of the pie” all year, thanks to the help of San Luis Obispo-based Elements Inc., an interactive web agency, who added the perfect blend of charm and function to KK’s new web site.

Even during economically challenging times, KK’s has seen consistent company growth shortly after the web site went live in December 2008. “During the first quarter of 2009 sales were up 10.5 percent compared to the first quarter of ’08, which is amazing considering the recession,” explained KK’s owner, Karen Phillips (a.k.a. KK).

“The site is very professional and easy to use, and it certainly has helped us to define our vision
